Booking Info
*By booking with me you therefore agree to the following terms and conditions*
Payment: Your order is considered booked when it is paid in full. The full payment is due at least two weeks before the event date. No work will be done on your order until it is paid in full. If you’re scheduling more than a month in advance, half the total amount must be paid to hold your spot. This fee is non-refundable. The remaining amount is due two weeks prior to the event date. Depending on availability, Say it With Cake Bakery may choose to accept last minute orders. A rush fee may apply.
Pickup: You may pick up your order in Orem during an arranged pickup window. Cakes can be difficult to transport safely. For this reason, delivery is recommended. If you choose to pickup your order, you are responsible for any damage to it.
Delivery: Say it With Cake Bakery delivers orders to Orem, Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard for free. A delivery fee will apply to areas outside these. Your cake will be brought inside and placed on the designated table or cake stand. In the instance that the venue is locked and/or there is no one present to receive the delivery, the delivery will be left outside the door and Say it With Cake Bakery is no longer responsible for it.
Flowers: Say it With Cake Bakery does not provide real flowers for cakes. If you choose to have real flowers/greenery on your cake, please acquire some from your florist. Be aware that some are toxic and talk with your florist to be informed about food safety. I will arrange flowers on the cake for an additional charge.
Cake Safety: Please be aware that all tiered cakes contain wooden dowels (one large one in the center and several smaller ones around it) and cardboard cake rounds (in between tiers) for structure and support. These should be removed before serving and eating. Do not smash faces into tiered cakes!
Cake Care: You must provide a sturdy table and/or cake stand large enough for your cake (typically a bit larger in diameter than the bottom tier of your cake). Speak with your wedding planner or venue about this. Cakes should be kept at no more than 70 degrees F. Cakes are made of buttercream and will melt in heat or direct sunlight! If you pick up your cake in advance, store it in the fridge and then put it at room temperature (70 F) a few hours before your event. To store after your event, wrap individual slices or entire tiers in plastic wrap or aluminum foil, place in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 3 months to preserve freshness. Before eating, thaw in the fridge.
Refunds: Payments are non-refundable. In the rare occasion of a personal emergency where Say it With Cake Bakery is unable to fulfill your order, your order may be transferred to another baker in the area. If another baker cannot be found, you will receive a full refund. If Say it With Cake Bakery is somehow responsible for damage to your order, a partial to full refund will be issued, based on the extent of the damage.
Allergens: Say it With Cake Bakery is not an allergen free kitchen. All products are made on equipment that also processes the 8 major food allergens. Please communicate any allergies to me and consume at your own risk. I am not responsible for any health issues that may arise from my product.
