Booking Info
Payment: Your order is considered booked on my calendar when it is paid in full. Total amount must be paid in full two weeks before the fulfillment date. Last minute orders are accepted at my own discretion. A rush fee will apply to orders less than a week away.
Pickup: You are welcome to pick up your order at my house during a 15 minute window. If you miss your pick-up window you can retrieve your order from a cooler on my porch. I will do everything I can to ensure a structurally sound cake. However, once out of my hands, the condition of the product is no longer my responsibility, and I am not liable for any damages which may incur.
Delivery: I deliver orders to Orem, Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard for free. A delivery fee will apply to areas outside these. In the instance that the venue is locked and/or there is no one present to receive the delivery, I will leave the delivery outside the door and am no longer responsible for it.
Setup: I will set up the cake and place flowers on the cake free of charge. You are also welcome to have your florist place them. You are responsible for providing flowers, and should talk with your florist to be informed about food safety surrounding flowers and greenery.
Cake Safety: Please be aware that all tiered cakes contain wooden dowels (one large one in the center and several smaller ones around it) and cardboard cake rounds (in between tiers) for structure and support. These should be removed before serving and eating. Do not smash faces into tiered cakes!
Cake Care: You are responsible for providing a sturdy table and cake stand for your cake. Cakes should be kept out of direct sunlight. If you pick up your cake in advance, store it in the fridge and then put it at room temperature (70 F) a few hours before your event. To store after your event, wrap individual slices or tiers in plastic wrap or aluminum foil, place in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 3 months to preserve freshness. Before eating, thaw in the fridge.
Refunds: If you cancel or have a change of plans after paying, I have a no refund policy. In the event of a personal or family emergency where I am unable to fulfill your order, I will do my best to find another baker in the area to complete your order. If I am unable to do so, I will offer a full refund. If I am somehow responsible for damage to your order, I will provide a partial to full refund, based on the extent of the damage.
Allergens: Though your product may not contain specific allergens, all products are made on equipment that also processes allergens. Please communicate any allergies to me but consume at your own risk. I am not responsible for any medical issues that may arise from my product.
